Angela Missoni said of this collection, "It's a trip." Words well chosen, because not only is this collection a trip, it's a whirlwind 5-day, 4-night, 7-countries, all-inclusive tour package. The result is a cacophony of color and print with a vague, undefined indigenous culture vibe to it. Additionally, the overly repetitive looks tend to all blur together after a while. There's no signature piece or motif; everything is overdone, over and over. A sentence shouted but with little meaning.
However, there are individual pieces of interest that are crying out to be paired with something a little less shouty. In fact, there are quite a few of them. It's just that the volume is pumped up so high they're kind of hard to pick out. Some of those cropped tops are cute. We like a lot of the skirts, especially the ones with the sheer details. The sandals don't look particularly comfortable, but they are fun, we have to admit.
